1 ¼ cup Zen Enhanced Nutrition Plant-Based Protein
1 cup oats
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
3 tablespoons cacao (or cocoa) powder
⅓ cup dried cherries (can substitute any dried fruit)
½ cup almond butter
¼ cup honey
5-6 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract



In a large bowl, combine protein powder, oats, flax, cacao, and dried cherries.
Combine almond butter and honey in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 45 seconds, until honey is melted and almond butter is loose.
Stir in the water and vanilla to the almond butter/honey mixture.

Mix the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients until a dough-like mixture forms.
Prepare a loaf pan or 8x8 pan with parchment paper. Make sure the mixture is spread evenly in the pan, cover it with parchment paper, and let it set in the fridge for at least an hour.
Peel off the parchment paper after removing the bars from the pan. Cut 16 bars.
Keep bars in the fridge wrapped or in an airtight container. They'll last several weeks in the fridge
