1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup honey or agave nectar
1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ¼ cup Zen Enhanced Nutrition Plant-Based Protein
In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, plant-based protein powder, and cocoa powder.
In a separate small saucepan, heat the honey or agave nectar, almond butter or peanut butter, and coconut oil over medium heat until fully combined and smooth.
Add the vanilla extract to the saucepan and stir.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared dish.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or until firm.
Remove from the dish and cut into bars.
